Canadian Manganese is an battery metal development company currently engaged in manganese exploration and development in the province of New Brunswick, Canada. Canadian Manganese owns the Woodstock Manganese Project and is currently aiming to become a major supplier of high-purity manganese products for the ever-growing rechargeable battery industry as well as the conventional industrial manufacturing and alloying industries.


In December 2019, Buchans Resources reorganized its mineral assets and investments by way of a plan of arrangement involving Buchans Resources Limited, Canadian Manganese Company Inc. and Minco Exploration Limited whereby the shares of Canadian Manganese previously held by Buchans Resources were distributed to the shareholders of Buchans Resources, yielding a more focused company structure with Canadian Manganese engaged on the manganese metal exploration interests.


On December 31, 2019, Buchans Resources Limited filed Articles of Arrangement to implement the Plan of Arrangement for a group reorganization and spin-out of subsidiaries, which was approved by shareholders by a 99.87% majority at a Meeting held on December 10, 2019, and by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on December 19, 2019.
